2012 Call for Proposals

The 2011 Spring Conference at Durham Tech began a very successful and active year for NCOTA. We hope to continue that positive trend in 2012, with two Spring conference programs. March 24 at Pitt Community College in Greenville and March 31 at Cabarrus College of Health Sciences in Concord.

2 month extension to therapy caps and fee schedule!

The House and Senate have passed a 2 month extension bill that halts the 27% reduction to the fee schedule and extends the therapy cap exceptions until the end of Feb. A long term solution will need to be put in place when Congress re-convenes after the New Year.

This year has been more partisan than usual—with Democrats controlling the Senate and Republicans controlling the House.
