Part-time Administrator needed for the North Carolina Occupational Therapy Association

Are you looking for an interesting part-time contract position with a great organization to supplement your income?

Do you have administrative and organizational experience that you can bring to the table? Are you a detail oriented, self-sufficient problem solver? Are you extremely comfortable with using software programs such as MS Office and QuickBooks, navigating the management of websites and creating and updating social media sites?

If this describes you, we would love to talk to you about the unique role that we have available.

You will be providing administrative support to the North Carolina Occupational Therapy Association (NCOTA). The primary duties of this position entail managing and updating the association’s website, minor bookkeeping, responding to emails and voicemails from association members and the general public, and assisting with promoting the organization and the advancement of occupational therapy through social media outlets. In addition, you will play a lead role in coordinating our three annual conferences.

A successful candidate must have the flexibility to work 4 to 5 hours per week during non-conference periods and then increase to 15-25 hours during the week of each annual conference.  In addition, the role will require occasional in-state drives to attend all quarterly board meetings.

If this sounds interesting, we look forward to speaking with you. Send your cover letter and resume to Amy Mahle at [email protected].

 Best regards,
Amy Mahle, MHA, COTA/L
NCOTA President
