The Jane Davis Rourk North Carolina Occupational Therapy Association Scholarship

 

In honor of the significant impact made by Jane Davis Rourk, OTR/L, BCP, FAOTA, in occupational therapy and specifically in North Carolina, the NCOTA and the American Occupational Therapy Foundation (AOTF) are proud to offer this scholarship to support an occupational therapy student in pursuit of their degree.  Jane had a long and prestigious career as an occupational therapist. She was an OT consultant to the NC Department of Public Instruction and a pioneer in school-based practice. She was also a tireless volunteer, serving on the Boards of NCOTA, the Council on Allied Health in North Carolina, the North Carolina Licensure Board, AOTA, and AOTF. She was also an educator and mentor who championed the profession’s commitment evidence-based practice and inclusive education.  

 

Eligible students must be enrolled in an accredited associate of professional level occupational therapy program in the state of North Carolina and must be members of the North Carolina Occupational Therapy Association.
