Welcome to the Home Health Special Interest Section!
Home health includes the entire life span from premature infants coming home after a NICU stay to older adults wishing to remain independent at home despite conditions of aging. This area of practice allows the practitioner to take a holistic approach to care as they work closely with parents, caregivers, and other significant people in that client's life. Looking for a way to network with other occupational therapy providers who provide services in the home? We are here to connect you with other professionals, provide evidence-based resources, advocate for this area of practice, and create a community of practitioners across the state.
